South Korea is seeing a strong resurgence in exports.
According to the World Trade Organization, with a 15-point-7 percent rise from the year before for the months of January and February, Seoul led the way among the world's top 10 exporters.
Marking a 28-point-four percent on-year spike in April, the number stood at 30-point-four billion dollars for the first 20 days of the month... recording the first 5-month-straight increase since December 2011.
Robust overseas demand for semiconductors and cars have been fueling the welcome trend.
Unfortunately things could change due to internal factors like shrinking domestic consumption, household debt and restructuring.
Externally, U.S. restrictions of imports of Korean steel products and the possibility of an election victory by French far-right presidential candidate Marine Le Pen... could shake things up.
