In this video, I’ll show you how to use a Canva color palette.

First, what are color palettes?
A color palette is a selection of colors chosen for design use. These colors usually complement each other and create a cohesive look.

Here’s how to generate a color palette for your design using Canva:
First, go to Google and search for Canva color palette.

Next, click on the link that says Color Palette Generator. (https://www.canva.com/colors/color-pa...)

Once on the site, you’ll see two options on the left: Upload Image and Try Demo Image.
Now, here’s how this tool works:
If you're unfamiliar with color theory, combining colors for your designs can be tricky.
Canva makes it easy by allowing you to upload an image you like — it will automatically generate a color palette based on that image.

So click on either option. I clicked on Upload an Image and selected one I had downloaded earlier.

The tool processes the image, and within a few seconds, it generates a color palette — four unique colors that work well together, pulled from the image.

Each color is named, and its color code is provided.

The next step is to update your Canva with this color palette.
To do this, open Canva and click on Brand. (Note: This feature is only available for Canva PRO users.)

But don't worry — I’ll also show you how to use the color palette with a free Canva account!

If you're a PRO user, click on Brand, then go to Colors.
You’ll see I already have a color palette set, so all I have to do is edit it.
If you don’t have one yet, simply create a new one.

To edit, click on each color and replace it with the new color code from the palette you generated.
Just copy the color code and paste it in.
You can also add a new color if you want!

Now, if you’re using the free version of Canva, here’s another method:
Use a screenshot tool to snip the color palette from the Canva color palette page and save it as an image.

Then, upload that image into your Canva workspace.
You can now pick colors directly from the uploaded image when designing!
