Are the sparks coming out of DWE7492 motor, when the shut off button is pressed, OK or do they indicate a problem?
Dewalt does not provide any formal information on the matter, but based on comments by other users who tirned to service centers, it appears to be a normal behavior of a brushed motor. The sparks reduce over time and here you can see my saw sparking out of the box and after half a year use.
