Dodital Trek

Dodital Lake
Dodital Lake is birth place of Lord Ganesha and his adobe dedicated by Temple near lake, therefore it is also known as “Dhundital” which means Ganesh . Dodiatal is a natural fresh water lake located at a height of 3,024 m (9,921 ft) above sea level. Dodital Lake is primary source of Assi Ganga river which one of the tributary stream to Bhagirathi river which later becomes Ganga.

Darwa Top
Darwa Top is a glacier of Himalayan Mountain range located at an altitude of 4,150 m [13,615.5 ft]. Dwara Top is situated in Dodital Trek just 5 Km above Dodital Lake after crossing Darwa pass.Its a beautiful glacier of Uttarakhand which the actual source of lake water and Assi Ganga river.
