Is the battery in your Harbor Freight Quantum rechargeable flashlight dead or failing to hold a charge? After providing me with seven years of faithful service, the Lithium Ion battery in my Quantum USB rechargeable flashlight from Harbor Freight will no longer hold a charge. Unfortunately, the battery is not easily replaceable. It is an 18650 type battery that has external lead wires that are soldered into the circuit board of the flashlight. I have never replaced such a battery, but how hard could it be? Let’s find out together. This video is not rehearsed! You will watch as I figure out how to disassemble the flashlight to gain access to the battery, solder in the new battery leads, and then figure out how to put it all back together again.
