Kauai: The Garden Isle

*I was going to keep this video private for friends and family but figured I'd share it with you guys.

Those of you who follow on Facebook and Instagram know that I have been gone on vacation recharging the mind and soul. Between working at the FD and slaving on my YouTube channel full-time it was time. It's been a LONG time since my wife and I took some time off. She is finally done with school and is officially an ARNP! So we took a trip and man if you have the chance I whole heartedly urge you to go stay on Kauai for awhile, there is NOTHING like it. That island recharged me 100% and I'm ready to hit the studio and pump out some NFA reviews!

I didn't bring my Sony A7rii as I didn't want to risk damaging my work camera. So I filmed our trip with nothing more than my Iphone6s and DJI Mavic Pro Drone. I'm still getting used to the drone. It performed GREAT even in extreme winds. Each time I flew it in the canyons the winds were 30+ MPH and it took it like a champ. I need to find a way to implement the drone in some NFA reviews for sure.

Anyway I figured I would share the trip with you. I condensed the entire trip into 5min and while I couldn't show everything, I think it paints a perfect picture of life on the island.
