Hi thank you for your support. I had received the amplifier by Schiit and paired them with the SR1A. It was a great listening experience as it was a different level from any hearing device is designed to put over the head. However, there are flaws that makes me regret buying it.

Firstly, it is the design fit. I had a huge head measuring about 59 cm in circumference. The narrow design of the SR1A was an extremely uncomfortable experience; feeling fatigue and pressure at both sides of the temple of the head where the SR1A small headband rest. It is as though the fitting design was an afterthought for a 4999 USD product.

Secondly, and yes the SR1A is somewhat "Bass shy." It is because the SR1A is not sealed around the ears so you cannot experience "Thumb" of the bass. That is why the company mentioned that the SR1A can only go as low as 30Hz as it is a non- sealed design.

Lastly, it is extremely expensive for this "whole new level" experience if you are someone like me who is struggling with studies, work and paying mortgage at the same time. In additional, your expense will not stop at SR1A. You will need to buy amplifiers that will cost you a lot more. But personally, if you are able to own it, I will recommend you to try it out with Tube amplifier with the SR1A as the SR1A is a very transparent earspeakers and will review the full tube potential of the "Holographic and warm" experience. I have been pairing my SR1A with Cayin A88T tube amplifier, and it was GREAT!

All in all, I can say that the SR1A is worthy candidate to replace any high end speakers for space saving purposes if your home has limited space for "best stereophile speaker experience. The SR1A is the absolute best for the sound you can get for something is wrapped around your head. If you have a huge head like mine, I will recommend you NOT to buy them; you will regret buying them. BUT, if you have a ton of cash you do not know what to do with them. Then, the SR1A will be a treat to you from boredom. As for the general public who is just curious about the experience, see if you have your local shop have a demo for you to try it out. Maybe Canjam will be an alternative for you to enjoy the experience.

MAN! 4999 USD? Really? Just for the experience? No, thanks if you ask me. Even though I had bought it and regret buying (mainly because of the design fit not suitable for huge head), it was a great but EXPENSIVE experience.

P.S. I had sold my SR1A together with my Schiit Jotunheim R due to the recent unforeseen circumstance of the COVID 19, I lost my job and needed money to live with my life.
