Maui with Grandpa aka Big Wave Paul! At the Sands of Kahana

My Nana aka Shredder Girl took me to her timeshare in Maui to finally meet my grandpa! We stayed at the Sands of Kahana (my 3rd time), last time was with my mom Kiani before she passed away to Heaven. I LOVE our family time there and reconnecting with my mom and her favorite Beach on West Maui. Even though she was a Happa girl from Oahu like my grandpa surf papa aka Big Wave Paul! I hope my mom Kiani is watching from Heaven and enjoying seeing our family have a good time and relaxing. Yes, Mom one day I will learn how to surf like you and Grandma and Grandpa; I promise!

Families can't go wrong with this great Resort just North of Lahaina. It has a great Beach Grill restaurant, Ollie's Pizza across the street, Maui Brewing (for the grandma, lol) down the street and a great Church right across the main road we go to every time we are there. What I like best is seeing my grandma at peace and relaxing; I suspect she feels the same when she watches me. Best thing about this year's trip; I MET MY GRANDPA, and he said he will come back next year too! If you are considering coming to West Maui, Sands of Kahana is the place to stay if you are bringing the family. Enjoy :)
