'It's been a difficult 24 hours' said the Chelsea interim manager Bruno Saltor, one day after the club announced the sacking of Graham Potter.

Potter was relieved of his duties following Saturday's 2-0 home defeat to Aston Villa after six months in the job.

Saltor, who joined Potter from Brighton and has no previous managerial experience, is in temporary charge. 'Football is a really complex business, and we have to keep going,' he said before adding,'I have to be the most professional I can and try to have the players, guide the players to get prepared for the game the best we can'.
