Call of Duty 2 playing The Battle of Pointe du Hoc

A lesser known but just as important micro-battle during the whole battle during D-Day. Attack by the 2nd Rangers on Point de Hoc was a support attack for the other landings at Omaha beach. To destroy artillery guns that aimed right at that beach, as found out by the rangers the guns were not there but moved and left unguarded. Very much historically accurate to what happened with of course adapting for gameplay and what the game engine could handle at the time. Still a great retelling of that historical attack. I still enjoy the older COD games but I cant deny the problems with AI and slow movement of the player character in-game. With the enemy AI at times taking too many hits before going down and how you get killed in dumb ways during play. Still I will take that over the new COD modern warfare 3 remake and how it was clearly a dlc made into a subpar game.
