Well after DAYS of toil on and off.
The Ten Tec Paragon is most likely PLL LOCKED on all bands.
The bands are in 4 sections, each band has a dedicated VCO - which are the square
boxes with the coil.

The minor board also has the fine tuning VCO on it.

The PLL MAJOR loop board usually goes OUT OF LOCK on one of the band due to bad solder joints.

Before you even think of twidding slugs - resolder ALL the connections on the PLL Major loop board.
And don't touch the slugs ever as they were already adjusted and in place from Ten Tec
factory.

The coil forms on this PLL Minor Loop board were so wide and ruined I had to put a large machine
screw into the coil to act as a slug to get the VCO to lock.

Cut off the head of the screw and SEAL with nail polish once the setting was good and locked.

Nightmare.

10meter or highest VCO same issue - cut off screw head and put in a screw. If I tried to put in a new slug - it just dropped to the bottom of the coil form.
I think bits of the old slug were still in there.

More drilling.
But finally done?
