The second day of the Croatian Whitewater Meetup was pure adrenaline—kayakers from all over charging the Mrežnica River, sending waterfalls, and pushing limits. The vibes were unreal as we dropped one cascade after another, until things took a serious turn.

On a 6m waterfall, I had a bad landing, resulting in two fractured vertebrae(T8, T9). Huge respect to my crew for the emergency extraction from the gorge—without them, it would’ve been a much worse situation. This was a harsh reminder that even experienced paddlers face real consequences.

⚠️ *SAFETY WARNING:* Waterfall kayaking is high-risk. Always scout, have a safety team, and know your limits. No line is worth permanent injury—respect the river.

Despite the setback, the community showed incredible support. Grateful to be here, and I’ll be back stronger.
