How accurate are Pokemon Reproduction Cartridges really?

Описание к видео How accurate are Pokemon Reproduction Cartridges really?

Hello everyone, welcome to a video that is a bit different from the usual content on this channel, as this video isn't as programming focused. Ok, that's not entirely true, you still need quite a bit of technical knowledge or atleast understanding to understand the contents of this video I guess. Anyways, I got myself some Pokemon Reproduction Cartridges (or Pokemon Repros in short), to be precise the Generation 3 Variety. After looking at a whole bunch of videos by other people testing them, I wondered: How accurate are these cartridges really? I mean, they aren't 100% accurate obviously, as the roms on them are patched in certain ways to make them work at all, but that aside, how good are these cartridges really? Well, that's exactly what I'm going to find out with you in this little video!

Links to stuff I mention and show in the video:
https://www.gamebrew.org/wiki/GBA_Bac... - You can get the GBA Backup Tool I mentioned in the video here, I used this to dump my real Pokemon Saves and also to backup all of the ROMs of the repro cartridges (if you get yourself some repros I would advise you to do this aswell (preferably before you start playing on them!))
