Custom Pallet Rack from Speedrack West

It doesn't matter the question, the answer is butter...or pallet rack. Either of those will probably get you going in the right direction. Maybe Duct Tape and Cable Ties too. In this case, the answer was Pallet Rack!

While the Husky shelves I had were good (well one was awesome, the other one wasn't slotted for the supports), they left a bit to be desired. Their design requires a "low shelf" and that prevents me from storing engines and transmissions under the shelves, which were also not quite deep enough. As a result, I opted to go with some Pallet Rack...and not just any Pallet Rack, but some custom Pallet Rack! I knew I would be looking at this every time I was in the shop and did not want the typical green and orange combo. So, I found a place called Speed Rack West and ordered some rack with a custom, blue finish.

This was a huge upgrade...the 3' depth gives me tons of shelf space and most importantly, I was finally able to slide the engines and transmissions under the shelf unit. My only real regret is not getting a few more uprights.

*Please Note: I'm releasing this on January 12, 2022...This was filmed back in the Summer of 2021...hence the complaints on heat and constant fans. You can think of this as a mid-year start to my current storage/organization kick. Real resolutions don't need to wait for a "new year."*
