Improving Estimation at the Capability and Epic Level

This month we will hear Garth Howell's experience with Capability and Epic estimation.

About the event:
Estimation is a challenge for any complex or large system, often resulting in poor forecasts and missed milestones. With Agile's just-in-time refinement and estimation, how can we estimate early (and with confidence) to improve our forecasting and better predict upcoming milestone delivery?
We'll take a look into a few estimation techniques, their impact to the ART and how we can use past performance to help inform our roadmaps.

About the Presenter:
Garth Howell has been on the Agile road for many years, experiencing XP and Scrum first hand as a developer before moving to a SAFe organisation and experiencing PI Planning as a Scrum Master and then Release Train Engineer.
He is a SAFe Certified Practice Consultant, actively training groups in Caterpillar and launched my first Agile Release Train for Caterpillar's Underground Mining group last year, with more to follow in 2024.
