Shoshone are a great civilization, that get better the more time you spend with them. Commanche riders are an okay unit, but it's everything else that really drives their strengths.

Pathfinders, while more expensive than scouts, perform all the blocking duties just as well, while allowing you to choose your ruin bonus - hugely powerful!

The ability to grab extra tiles upon settling is a lifesaver. It allows you to be more ambitious with your positioning, and saves a tonne of gold.

Sadly we get pushed into a Chariot war as we neighbour Denmark and have no land for ourselves. We discover just how good Chariot war is against Deity AI, and pull the win out of the bag!
