Auto activate arm for turtle mode on tango ii and betaflight - openTX / FreedomTX

Описание к видео Auto activate arm for turtle mode on tango ii and betaflight - openTX / FreedomTX

This video shows how to auto activate arm for "flip over after crash" (aka 🐢 turtle mode) on tango ii using OpenTX delay.

Reason for this is that the combination of buttons pressed for turtle mode is complex. Fly - crash - disarm - activate turtle - arm - move sticks - get right side up - disarm - deactivate turtle - rearm - #sendit

Yes making auto arm decreases safety, but the momentary switch on the tango 2 is almost impossible to bump by accident. Even if it was, as it's turtle mode , the props won't turn anyway, unless the throttle was on 0 and the roll/pitch is moved. Anyway, for our race quads its worth the minor risk.

I added the short delay as I have heard that if you activate "flip over after crash" and arm simultaneously, it sometimes doesn't work. So this way the arm happens a split second after turtle mode is activated. In the video i set a 1 sec delay for testing, then dropped it to 0.2 sec for daily use

Once set up all you do when you crash is disarm. Then hold the momentary and continue to hole while wiggling the pitch/roll in the right direction. When upright, let go of the momentary, and then arm as normal and #sendit. You don't have to use a momentary, you could use a button or normal switch too.

Sorry for the poor quality, just done quickly on the phone
