The House of Representatives (HOR) members convene for the Opening of the First Regular Session of the 18th Congress at the Batasan Pambansa in Quezon City on July 22, 2019.

Among the highlights of this morning's session is the election of the new House Speaker.

Later in the afternoon, the Senate and the HOR shall convene on a Joint Session for the 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
