Pond Scum Under the Microscope - Pondlife, Episode #1

Описание к видео Pond Scum Under the Microscope - Pondlife, Episode #1

We are surrounded by microscopic organisms that are too small to see with the naked eye. Follow Museum microbiologist Sally Warring as she reveals the invisible inhabitants of the green slime at the surface of a pond in Central Park.

In this first episode of the new Pondlife series, join Sally at the Harlem Meer in Central Park as she uses her microscope to observe microbes thriving right under our noses, including some pond microorganisms that were first described by Anton van Leeuwenhoek in 1674.
