Hey there!

This video in particular is my eleventh battle in VGC 2022 on the official cartridge. Alkas' Will-O-Wisp came in clutch in the early game, while the screens were enough to tank some hits that I would have died to. I feel bad, though. My opponent played really well here. I got lucky way too many times, and should have directed my offense on the bigger threat in one of the turns. I hope I'll be able to play better in the future.

I hope that you can be inspired to get into competitive Pokémon, too, like so many other content creators have done (and are still trying to do) before me. I'm a vet when it comes to Showdown but a complete rookie when it comes to cartridge play in Sword. I do have some competitive experience in my Sun and Ultra Sun cartridges, but that's where my competitive journey in official hardware started, while I started way back in Gen IV with Shoddy Battle for battle simulators. I hope these videos will help you improve your team. Or at least get some ideas on how to enjoy these battles, especially if you get to incorporate your favorites.
