Come and visit the Las Vegas Springs Preserve Botanical Garden with me. In this video, we will be looking at the desert garden featuring the cactus and other desert plants that are found in the Mojave Desert. The Mojave desert is said to be the driest desert in North America. A great part of it is in Nevada and California, while small portions are in Utah and Arizona.

The cacti that can be found thriving in Nevada are opuntia, chollas, hedgehogs and some barrel cacti. You may also see some trichocereus, echinopsis and saguaro, although these are mostly just planted and are not truly endemic in Nevada.
