On our last day on Koh Yao Yai, we rent a scooter and tour the island including two gorgeous beaches and a street side restaurant. We try durian fruit for the first time before returning to Koh Yao Yai Village resort, where we abduct a cat and bring it back to our room. As tropical storm Pubuk makes landfall in Thailand, we get a call in the middle of the night and have to evacuate the island a day early before boat service is cutoff indefinitely.
