This rifle was listed as deactivated with a plugged barrel. I rolled the dice by purchasing it, at the very least it would be a good source of parts. Upon receipt, the barrel is plugged, but none of the other pressure bearing parts were modified in any way as a part of deactivating the rifle. The barrel itself was cut in half though. Luckily I've accumulated Danish Krag Jorgensen parts and those include an in tact barrel. In this video, I build tools to remove the old cut barrel and install the replacement barrel. I check function and headspace for safety, and then shoot the rifle.
