Cowra all the way

So, I had to do a straight run to Cowra and back. Not the truth I had to drive to young another 50klms and back. Heydan and I left at 4.15am yesterday and got back to Gatton at 11am today. So, in total it was a 30.45 hour drive. We of course stopped for food and toilets. (For us not the dogs). We dropped Prickles off first after we found out the storage units in Cowra where open until 9pm. The Cattery was amazing and he will love it. She is also a horse person so no nonsense and very knowledgeable. I will of course text for updates. I want to set up his accommodation before he comes to the new farm.

On the way back we had two stops for me to sleep the first one was for 3 hours at a rest area where there were some caravans and the second what a roadside next to some trucks and I got 1 and a half hours sleep.

The dogs did fine at home although they did miss me. I am so tired after this trip I don't think I could do this again on my own. Heydan has been so good with all of this, and he is enjoying learning new things. He has so many questions about life and how to live it I cannot believe sometimes he does not know the simplest things but so enjoy giving him the information. He is after all only 18 years old guys and very green. So, on our last move next week I am planning a big surprise for him which is so simple, but I am sure we will enjoy it to the max. Fiona and Steve will also be involved as well as some other friends if I can swing it.

I am about to go to bed after answering some important emails and when I get up, whatever time that will be I have to start cleaning the house. LOL
