XYY Chromosome Theory or Super Male theory || XYY Chromosome syndrome || Biological theory of crime in criminology

In this lecture we are going to discuss another biological theory of crime that is XYY Chromosome or Super Male Theory
XYY chromosomes, also known as "super male syndrome." It's a genetic condition where males have an extra Y chromosome in their cells. Typically, males have one X and one Y chromosome, but in XYY syndrome, there's an additional Y chromosome.

Now, having XYY chromosomes doesn't usually result in significant physical differences. Most individuals with XYY chromosomes don't even know they have it. However, some studies suggest that there may be a slightly increased risk of certain behavioral and developmental issues.
