This performance was held during our Multicultural week at North High School, Torrance, California. Several culture clubs performed their own traditional dances, (like Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Mexican, Middle Eastern, Polynesian, etc.) and this was the Filipino Club's dance. We practiced after school and on the weekends for months up until the performance. Many of the dancers are Filipino-American, some are half Filipino, and some are not Filipino at all, but still engaged in the club/dance and learned about Filipino culture. This was a very fun dance and I highly recommend everyone tries it!
