It amazing what you can discover as you go exploring the coastal paths of the UK!
We were walking the paths of beautiful Cornwall when we spotted this lookout cabin overseeing the seas on a day of rough windy weather.
We were invited in by the duty guard and discovered that there are teams of volunteer 'Coastwatchers' watching the seas day after day all around the UK.
They provide support and information to the emergency services and we had never heard of them, despite our love of the seas and coastal paths of the UK.
