The final segment of the five part series, BCS Busters. The Utah Utes cap a historic season. As members of the Mountain West Conference, they become the first mid major football program to crash through the BCS glass ceiling. That accomplishment was the catalyst for making it easier for other mid major programs to be invited in future BCS bowl games. It also opened the door for the discussion of a playoff system in college football.
