I actually worked pretty hard on this so I figured that it would go on this channel and not my other one.

Found within "Namco Museum Megamix", Pac 'n Roll is a 3D platforming game where you control pacman through a series of levels and defeat Golvis at the end of each world (except world 1). Throughout a majority of the levels, you will need to collect enough Pac-Dots to unlock the Golvis gate in order to progress through the level.

RTA Timing starts on selecting World 1-1 and ends when you eat Golvis for the final time in World 5-Boss.

Some basic movement strategies used-
Shaking the Wii remote will give Pacman a very large boost in the direction that the nunchuck is pointing. Additionally, it will cancel any momentum that pacman originally had. By pressing the B button, you can brake on the ground which will slow him down and reduce his jump height if used after rolling off a ramp. Here is where it starts to get interesting, normally you are commited to the full boost that shaking the remote gives you but you can cancel it at anytime by braking. This means that it is possible to boost in a direction, brake for exactly 1 frame and then start boosting the next frame (which halts all previous momentum). This gives boosting the necessary mobility to be useful in almost all situations over simply moving around. The only times when Pacman is not boosting are when he is in the air since he cannot boost in the air and his air mobility it temporarily halted if he boosts into the air and doesn't press brake.

Overall this TAS could be a lot better than it is for 3 simple reasons:
1) 1-1 Doesn't use the brake button-
Seriously. I didn't realize the brake button even existed until 1-2 and I didn't want to redo 1-1 since most of it was just straight anyway.

2) Unprecise angles-
More precise and "direct" angles could be used in a lot of places (The boss fight in World 2 is a good example of this)

3) Better Pac-Dot strategies-
Sometimes the path that I took to avoid/collect some Pac-dots turned out to be unoptimal. (Middle of 5-2 is a good example. I waste time doing a small ledge jump in order to collect 2 more Pac-Dots. It's a cool strategy, sure, but it wastes a lot of time for just 2 Pac-Dots)

Despite this, I'm still pretty proud of it and it still showcases some of this game's nutty movement taken to the extreme :D

P.S. Sorry for the lag spike in 4-5 :(
