Ok, Baltany is just keeping me at the edge of my seat. I had already been extremely impressed with the Oyster 1926 homage, a modern take on that game changing Rolex classic. When I saw this pop up on my feed from Baltany I spit out my tea and couldn’t believe it. There was no way this amazing historic model that has been exclusive for decades and definitely not accessible for many watch collectors is now getting a more accessible interpretation. It was too good to be true so I jumped over to their site and started liking at the specs, case sizing and model options. Wow, I was sold and felt like I’d be an idiot not give it a try for under $160. I would definitely never buy the Vacheron Constantin, so here we are.

Salmon/Copper dial done perfectly in my opinion (the right tone), stainless steel, 50m water resistant, sapphire crystal with AR coating, Breguet numerals, 38mm case with 44mm lug to lug, 20mm lug strap monster etc. what is there not to love here! And best of all, this is something very unique and elegant that can be transformed with the right leather strap, I ripped off the one it came with and added a blue textured calf strap from watchbandits. This is truly the Vacheron Constantin homage for all to enjoy!
