Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at this etrailer e-track tie down ring. Has a 1,333 pound working load limit. Now, this tie down ring attaches anywhere along your e-track and provides a tie down point for securing cargo. Just to show you what we're talking about, I'm gonna pop up an insert and you can see there's the e-track installed inside a trailer.
And you can see this ring installed there, this tie down ring. And then you can see there's an S-hook that goes through the hole there. So, it's perfect for ratchet straps that have the S-hooks on it. The whole diameter that the hook will go through is about three eights of an inch diameter. Application, this will work on both horizontal and vertical e-track, and even the x-track.
Now, it is a lever design. You can see, you just raise up the lever to install it, and then you let it go. It'll drop and lock into place. Just to demonstrate that, I'm gonna show you, happen to pull, there's a piece of a e-track. And you can see, if we have it horizontally here, just to show you what we're talking about.
You can see, you can take this lever to install it, just lift up on the lever, drop it into the hole you want, let it go, just like that. And now it's holding it in place. And then you can put a hook, anything through there. And as we mentioned, it can also be used vertically, just like that if it's mounted on the wall. And then to remove it, just lift up on this lever, push it that way, and it comes right out.
Simple as that. Install it and remove it. Very easy to operate. It is a steel construction. Has a nice, yellow zinc plating on it, makes it strong and rust resistant. Few specs on this. The maximum loader brake strength is 4,000 pounds, and the safe working load limit will be a third of that, so it's 1,333 pounds. But that should do it for the review on this etrailer e-track tie down ring with the 1,333 pound working load limit.
