Special thanks to Emrik North for the voice during the finals chapter. (Sorry I didn't use all of your voice lines it just cause I didn't have any other voice overs and wanted to keep it consistent.)
Along with thanks to the rest of the Average Sotarks Enjoyers group for giving me one of the best experiences playing this game.

Timeline of creating this video if anyone cares (it's like an essay tbh):
Oct 2021: I registered pretty late in the tourney like a week before registrations closed. This is where you can say that I started creating the video as it was the first interaction I had with the tournament
Nov 2021: We were surviving through the loser bracket, which came the thought of creating a video surrounding the experience of this tournament. Initially I scrapped the video idea because I thought it wasn't going to be interesting, but apart from this tournament and other necessary stuff like work, I really had nothing else to do. So I said to myself, that if we pass quarter finals then a video would be possible as there would be enough content surrounding the tournament experience. On the 29th we advanced to semi finals.
Dec 2021: I made a promise to myself, so I started writing the script and some notes on the 1st. 2 weeks later, we got eliminated and from there I went through archiving all the discord messages and vods surrounding the tournament. At the end of December I finished the script/notes with over 6000 words. On New Year Eve, I recorded myself going through the script, it took 2 hours.
Jan 2022: I started the year being unemployed, as I hated my old job and had a new internship opportunity at the middle of this month. I thought with the free time I have, I would have a lot of time and finish the video before my internship starts. Well I got lazy and only edited the voice overs during January. That's when I realize that I severely underestimated the work I had to put in this video.
Feb 2022: My University semester started, along with that, the place I was an intern at hired me to work with them. Now having full-time uni and a job, my time was now limited. I still worked on the video, but only little bits at a time.
Mar 2022: Still working on the video but still making slow progress. I questioned if I would ever get this video done or not.
Apr 2022: It was reaching the end of my Uni semester so naturally the work was getting more overwhelming which affected me mentally. The only way to feel any better was for uni to be over, so I can focus on other things and relax. I had to put this video on the backburner while I focused on my studies.
May 2022: The semester was over and I didn't have uni anymore, I also didn't have a job anymore... My work hasn't been contacting me so I presume I've been silently fired. Now with the free time during my uni break might as well work on this video. In a way it kinda feel like the world gave me another chance to finish this video. I had more than half way to go, but that's because I barely worked on it during uni. But now I had a lot of motivation to finish of the video. I believe I would work on the video around 2-5 hours a day for the next month with some day breaks here and there. Additionally I rewrote and re-recorded some parts of the script which extended the length to finish the video.
Jun 2022: I was in the final stretch and it was surreal seeing everything assembled as I thought it was going to be in limbo forever. I also got a new job at the end of the month, so I knew that I needed to finished the video before I started my job, so I wouldn't lose focus and momentum. I started rendering the first video draft on the final day of June.
Jul 2022: I went on a small holiday on the 1st of July, which in a way felt like a celebration after finishing the video. I returned back on the weekend finding out that my household got covid during my absent. So I spent the last stage of the video by revising the draft and correcting any errors of the video using my laptop in the library which had remote access to my pc at home. I uploaded the video on my phone at my uni campus to use their wifi. Now I'm sitting here being anxious on publishing the video in the first place. I need to though, all of this work can't be for nothing.
