Wedding Rituals in Rong Chu rGyud, Changthang, Ladakh

This documentary video is about the rituals and practises around a wedding ceremony that is still practised in the Rong Chu rGyud region of Ladakh in Jammu & Kashmir. Wedding rituals and practises related to it have been practised in Ladakh for a very long time, however, with modern developments, these practises are slowly vanishing away. An attempt has been made to document the remaining rituals that are still part of the intangible cultural heritage of Ladakh.
