& Complete Realization of Nianfo Samādhi (the Śūraṅgama Sūtra, Chapter 5, a revised translation).

This short extract from the Śūraṅgama Sūtra forms one of the Five Pure Land sutras in Chinese Pure Land Buddhism (added by Master Yinguang - 13th Patriarch of Chinese Pure Land Buddhism).

In this succinct paragraph, the Bodhisattva Mahāsthāmaprāpta teaches us the key of Nianfo and how he has realised Nianfo Samādhi by keeping the perfect control of the six senses with continuous pure thoughts of Amitabha Buddha 🙏🙏🙏
