After the 2016 election, my close friend Samantha O’Brochta and myself collaborated on playlets that reflected the times and our anxieties accurately and humorously. Our great producer Emma Wagner put them in a charity show in New York City called “Where Do We Go From Here?” to raise awareness and funds in the aftermath of the trauma of the election. Here is one of the playlets! I directed these and it was a thrill to have our vision realized on stage as Samantha and I consoled each other that December 2016. Our great cast here is Maryclare DeMenna (PIT, Thunderbolt Comedy), Witt Whitmore (Jimmy Kimmel Live, B-Reel), and Sabrina Margret Brier (Mean Book Club podcast)! I love directing live stage performances and taking on this charity project was a joy. It was an honor to take the helm when Samantha O’Brochta approached me for comedy collaboration and asked me to direct this. Enjoy!
