The development of cameras and production equipment over the past few years has meant that it is not uncommon to see one person taking on the role of an entire production crew.

Video journalist Matt Danzico took a break from travelling the globe with BBC Pop Up to tell us why he finds his job so rewarding, and what a not-so-average day looks like for him.

Danzico explains that although it is easy for a novice to learn the practical techniques of video journalism, the profession requires a large amount of skill and dedication to perfect.
