How to wrap a Dresser for moving

Описание к видео How to wrap a Dresser for moving

Hi! In this video walk through how we wrap dressers. This is actually a filing cabinet, but same concept. You should use 2 blankets overlapping in the middle to fully cover the sides when wrapping long dressers. When I talk about making sure the bottom is protected, I don't mean underneath the dresser, of course; I mean the bottom 6 inches of the front and sides is prone to noticeable damage; that's where it gets hit by dollies, feet, other furniture, gets dragged, etc. if it's not handled by careful movers. You want to first remove any mirrors and protruding handles or brackets from the back if possible or wrap them carefully. You can use rubber bands instead of plastic wrap. If you have two people plastic wrap doesn't take much longer, but if you're working solo, rubber bands are much faster. I have another video about mirrors, where I repeat this, but the rails holding the mirror to the dresser should always be fully removed from both the mirror and dresser, and wrapped separately, otherwise there is a high likelihood of them snapping under stress. You can reach me at 719-581-9081 if I can help you in any way.
Thanks,
