Senior counsel Vidushpat Singhania, who was roped in by the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) to argue her case before the CAS in Paris, spoke exclusively to India Today's Nitin Srivastava.
He along with Harish Salve joined the hearing, which lasted three hours, virtually.
"It was a tough task for us because we had less time in hand to prepare and put our views forwad, but we worked hard and prepared to fight for Vinesh. Generally, the CAS gives a verdict in 24 hours but this time they are taking time, and we are very hopeful that the result might come in Vinesh's favour," he said.
