Kai Borelo Komblo (arr. Ben Fernandez)

Kai Borelo Komblo is a Goan traditional folk song (arr by Ben Fernandez).
This song is a ‘dulpod’ – a Goan folk song with a quick rhythm and something people can dance to. Goa is my hometown on the west coast of India and was ruled by the Portuguese right until 1964. So the music of Goa is an interesting mix of Indian folk, European and Western music. ‘Dulpods’ are very much like the ‘blues’ as they tell a story of everyday life in the villages of Goa. This is my dedication to Goa and Goans worldwide. Hope you enjoy it !!
