What is IASTM? What is the IASTM Technique?

IASTM is a great way to treat your body to a “tune-up” of sorts. Work out that tension and pain, loosen your muscles and joints so you can move better and sleep better! Who doesn’t want that?!?!

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a therapy technique that uses tools to break up scaring that occurs naturally and through injury to various part of our body. Whether it be natural overuse or strain/sprain can cause swelling. All that swelling causes scarring to form between the muscles and the fascia (which is a tough connective tissue that holds the muscles together) limiting motion and creating pain over time.
