Tanjung Rhu - Located on the north eastern corner of Langkawi, Tanjung Rhu derives its name from the tall casuarina trees that line its shore. The word 'Tanjung' in Malay means a cape and 'Rhu' stands for Casuarina tree. This secluded beach has blue waters of the Andaman Sea, ivory white sand, and a mild, cool breeze.

Sandy Skulls - Pasir Tengkorak beach, located on the northern coastline of Datai bay, is the most radiant beach in Langkawi. With its shallow water, soft sand, and dense green forests, this beach is a prominent picnic spot for locals and tourists alike. Pasir Tengkorak is also known as the Sandy Skulls Beach. This eerie name has many legends associated with it, including stories of pirates and mariners whose bodies washed up on the shore after a storm in the Strait of Malacca. A more plausible theory states that the skulls found on the shores belonged to the prisoners who tried to escape from the island prison of Ko Tarutao in Thailand, which is on the north of Langkawi.

Cenang Beach - Pantai Cenang is the most popular beach on the island, with operators offering visitors watersport opportunities like jet skiing, parasailing, kayaking, water skiing, speed boat rides, and the like. Located on the western shoreline of Langkawi, Pantai Cenang offers a vibrant nightlife with its splendid beachfront bars and classy lounges.
