This is the LG UltraGear 27GP850-B monitor connected from the laptop with mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort. The monitor will automatically turn itself on along with audible notifications from Windows, then the enter power saving mode message appears, and it shuts off. This process may intermittent, happen randomly and at different intervals. A few things I have tried are different Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables(Club3D,etc.), changing the refresh rate(165hz, 144hz, etc.), changing the DisplayPort version from 1.4 to 1.2 in the monitor settings and disabling G-SYNC. I have not seen this issue while using the DisplayPort to DisplayPort, USB-C to DisplayPort or HDMI to HDMI connections.
