Weird Dreams Longplay (Amiga) [QHD]

Developed by Herman Serrano and published by Rainbird in 1988

As the title suggests, Weird Dreams is a game completely off the wall it rarely makes any kind of sense, and the gameplay is so punishing it can be the stuff of nightmares.

The basic premise is you're trying to escape from a catatonic state, and you must brave the horrors of your own subconscious to find and retrieve three gems(?).

One other interesting thing about the game is it featured as phone-in competition on late 80s/early 90s kids TV show (possibly Motormouth).
