My first video of 2023 and my first DefleMask song of 2023. I decided to create this experimental techno music with ambient/downbeat mixture. While "SakunaTekku" was more upbeat in nature, this one is more dark in nature as to test the waters for me to compose something new in a fresh way but retains a couple of my trademark instruments such as the strings and my signature FM trumpet (AKA Joy Trumpet), with the latter being played mostly in the lower octaves. It should come as no surprise that this song features no DAC samples for drum sample playback (it uses the FM drums instead) or PSG instruments/channels. as the song is focused entirely on the FM channels a la Jesper Kyd.
"Beat Ambience" from Streets Of Rage 3, VectorMan 1 & 2, The Adventures Of Batman & Robin, and the Mega Drive/Genesis arrangement of "Worlds 2 & 6" from Zool: Ninja Of The Nth Dimension are the straightforward inspirations for this song.
