It's budget day today and all eyes are on Finance Minister Arun Jaitley! The Modi Government which came into power with the promise of 'ACHE DIN' will face its first real test today with Jaitley's maiden budget. And the signs are not so promising - The economic survey for the current fiscal, which was tabled in Parliament yesterday, states in unequivocal terms that 'ACHE DIN' is not around the corner. This year's growth is pegged at around 5.5% and the promised 8% growth is not on the near horizon! The only good news is a slight moderation in inflation and a better forex position! There is expectation that the FM will put more money in the hands of the consumer. What are your expectations from the FM's #Budget2014?
