Hello, and welcome back to CG Rated Books. You know, I have been consistently extending everyone a "read-along-with-me" invitation; and keeping everyone up to date with my reading progress without giving any thought as to how difficult it may be to keep up with my book selections.

It's not like it's a voted on title that we all have agreed upon. I find each title quite randomly, in fact. So I've recently put some thought into how the average reader could join the CG Rated Books Read-along group, if they're interested.

It's quite simple and free of charge. It does require downloading a couple of apps to your mobile devices and a membership to your local library. If you're comfortable with reading ebooks or listening to audio books, this is an easy way to get access to the books I'm reading in short notice and without charge.

This method is achieved by using the Libby and Kindle apps found on Google Play and the Apple Store.

If you already have a library card; it's as easy as 1, 2, 3.
1. You download the Libby app.
2. Register your library account
3. Search, borrow and read.

If you don't have a membership to your local library system; it may take a physical trip to your local library, but it doesn't take long to register. You may even be able to register online.

And...

If you already have a Kindle account and want to keep your books in one location, you can select to receive your borrowed library ebooks straight to your Kindle account.

If you don't have a Kindle account but wouldn't mind using one, it's also a free app. It's free to register an account and you don't need a Kindle device to use it.

The Libby app allows you to add multiple library accounts to a single profile. That gives you a longer list of available titles from a single login. Access to each borrowed title will automatically terminate at the end of their scheduled checkouts.

If you're interested in using this technique; whether to join our read along group; or even for more personal gain, I've included some information down in the description of this video.

There are links for the Google Play Apps as well as a few useful Youtube tip videos for the Libby app.

Moving forward, I will release a monthly RIP list at the beginning of each month, include my reading progress on weekly check-in videos and announce my book progressions as they occur via Youtube Shorts.

With all of that said, I hope that this information encourages many more of you to participate as a group and look forward to sharing more and more of my reading experiences with all of you.
