The Swift is powered by a mild-hybrid three-cylinder 1.2-liter engine that achieves a fuel consumption of 64.2mpg. The car offers a roomy interior for four adults, although the boot is relatively small at 265 liters. The Swift's infotainment software is outdated and can be sluggish, but it has a simple menu structure. The car comes with standard speed limit and lane-keeping assistance systems, although they can be disabled. On the road, the Swift is described as light, communicative, and eager to change direction, providing a fun driving experience.
