Today would have been a strange day for Anne Milne. A longstanding fixture in the education community is bowing out after 40 years. It was her last day in the job for the principal of Kia Aroha College who encouraged students to embrace their Māori and Pacific heritage. But as Hania Douglas found today, although she'll be sorely missed, she won't soon be forgotten.
