Why Everyone is Traveling to Minca, Colombia? 🇨🇴

I finally understand why everyone praises Minca so highly! After spending a few days close to town I got invited to Mundo Nuevo property set higher up from the town in what feels so be a sacred place!

The property itself is an amazing experience, built in the traditional finca style, with lots of corners to relax and a spectacular pool area but the winning feature is the sunset spot! OH-MY-GOOOOOD!! Everyone from the hotel/hostel comes to the edge of the plateau in the evening to watch the spectacle that is the sun setting over Santa Marta and the ocean.

I`m pretty sure this is not only the best view and sunset spot in Minca but one of the best in the whole country! Grab yourself a drink and enjoy the colorful performance!

And that`s not all! To top that off there`s an indigenous village just a few minutes walk from the property where you can see how the tribes still live and preserve their culture to this day. It felt really special to be able to witness that!
