"Yo Nepali Shir Uchali" is a program hosted by Nepali movie industry superstar Rajesh Hamal.The concept and production of "Yo Nepali Shir Uchali" are attributed to Bibek Regmi.The show highlights Nepalese individuals who bring pride to their country while residing abroad. Episode 2 features Surya Prasad Subedi, a distinguished Nepalese-British legal scholar renowned for his expertise in international law, human rights, and constitutional law. He holds the position of Professor of International Law at the University of Leeds and has significantly contributed to the field through extensive academic research and publications. Subedi served as the United Nations Special Rapporteur for human rights in Cambodia from 2009 to 2015, playing a crucial role in exposing and addressing human rights violations. He has advised both the British government and the Government of Nepal on international law matters and has been a prominent figure in various international legal bodies, including the International Law Association, where he held leadership roles. Subedi's global contributions have earned him numerous accolades, such as an honorary Queen's Counsel (QC) appointment in the UK and the highest state honor from the King of Nepal.

‘यो नेपाली शिर उचाली’ कार्यक्रम नेपाली चलचित्र उद्योगका महानायक राजेश हमालले होस्ट गरिएको कार्यक्रम हो । यस कार्यक्रमका परिकल्पनाकार तथा निर्माता विवेक रेग्मी हुन् । कार्यक्रमले विदेशी भूमिमा रहेर गौरव गर्न लायकको काम गरेका नेपालीहरुको कथा भन्नेछ । यसै सिलसिलामा कार्यक्रमको दोस्रो भागमा प्रोफेसर सूर्यप्रसाद सुवेदीको कथा प्रस्तुत गरेका छौं । जसले अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय कानुन, मानव अधिकार र संवैधानिक निकायहरुमा रही प्रतिष्ठा प्राप्त गरेका छन् । उनी वेलायतस्थित लिड्स विश्वविद्यालयका अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय कानुनका प्राध्यापक हुन् र विस्तृत शैक्षिक अनुसन्धान तथा प्रकाशनबाट यो क्षेत्रमा महत्वपूर्ण योगदान पुर्याइरहेका छन् । सुवेदीले २००९ देखि २०१५ सम्म कम्बोडियामा मानव अधिकारको लागि संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघीय विशेष प्रतिवेदकको रूपमा महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निर्वाह गरी मानव अधिकार उल्लङ्घनका घटनाहरु उजागर गर्ने र सम्बोधन गर्ने काममा मुख्य भूमिका खेलेका थिए । उनले बेलायत सरकार र नेपाल सरकारलाई अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय कानुनका मामिलामा सल्लाहकारको रूपमा पनि सेवा दिइरहेका छन् । सुवेदीको कामलाई विश्वमञ्चले सम्मान गरेको छ । जस अन्तर्गत बेलायतमा मानार्थ क्वीनुस काउन्सिल (क्यूसी)को उपाधी र नेपालमा राजा विरेन्द्र शाहबाट उच्चतम राज्य उपाधि प्रदान गरिएको छ
